From the Stage of #GPeCSummit 2017: Growing your business with social media and online marketing
This month was rich in digital events for our #BrighTeam: after our active involvment in the Bucharest Technology Week’s digital setup, we became the proud digital partner of GPeC – Gala Premiilor E-Commerce – joining an impressive community of Online specialists, built around the largest E-Commerce event in Central and Eastern Europe. During the 3 days of Conference, more than 700 E-commerce & Marketing specialists from all over the world joined the event to learn about the latest top notch industry know-how.
Our Bright Head of Marketing & Managing Partner, Ioana Barbu, offered valuable insights on the topic of growing your business with Social Media and Online Marketing.
The workshop revealed important steps for a sustained business growth, with the help of both Social Media and Online Marketing tools. From research to goal-definition, Ioana moved to an in-depth view of a business from an online marketing perspective and talked about shaping a brand’s identity, developing a solid strategy and running an action plan with long-term objectives. And because great theory comes with great practice, she offered sneak peaks from our clients’ most successful campaigns. In the limelight were Happy la job – a happy campaign for eJobs, Fortza’s Motive Românești, where everyone becomes a seeker for Romanian traditional motifs and last, but not least, the newest CGI technology developed for our friends & client at Beko.
“When should I start writing on my company’s blog?”, “How can I adapt certain messages to every online channel where my brand is present?” or “What are the ways in which I can shape more specific personas?” were only a few of the questions that came from the audience. The Q&A session was interactive, insightful and filled with custom examples and advice for everyone in the audience. In the end, we could only hope everyone had so much fun as we did and this information exchange could have only been helpful for the participant. Here’s the presentation and a brief advice from Ioana: “Your business objectives are the ones who must always ground your marketing strategy. Be clear and realistic about what you want to achieve and bring your business agenda to life into the marketing plan. And in your mix of marketing, remember to leave a great space and bring a lot of resources and creative input to digital, mobile and social media. Because these are the places where consumers already spend so much of their daily time. And brands must find ways to be where consumers are to grow in awareness, produce engagement and generate conversion.”
